Offering Comfort In Dark Times

Simon's Legacy is based in Platteville, Colorado, and provides resources for families who have lost children, as well as miscarriage support. We offer bereavement gifts and care packages for families who have recently undergone loss.

In the midst of overwhelming loss, we want you to know that someone understands what you have been through and is thinking about you. We send care packages to families who have lost a child—whether the loss occurred during pregnancy or in the child's adulthood. Our care packages include little stuffed bears and a certificate.

When a loved one has passed on, mourning becomes an especially personal journey. All too often, the loss is that of a beloved child. Rice Creations is partnering with Simon’s Legacy to bring comfort to bereaved parents, with a special necklace to help hold memories of their child. We will carry pastel colored cotton necklaces that can be personalized with the child’s name, a red heart and if desired, the birthdate. These necklaces keep the name and the memories of the child close to the heart.
